As IT Procurement, we have cross-national responsibility for all procurement processes in the IT and communications environment and represent STRABAG in dealings with external service providers. We negotiate IT contracts and use the necessary tools and processes to ensure that all employees, locations and construction sites are equipped with the right hardware and software.
We conduct all negotiations for IT projects in collaboration with our product managers and the relevant departments. In the process, we ensure that the requirements are assessed from an IT and data protection perspective and that all compliance and security demands are contractually taken into account. The contracts are managed in our IT contract management system and regularly reviewed using various analyses, reports and licence management processes. In addition, we ensure a standardised process based on these contracts, from the requirement request to invoicing. We are also responsible for equipping our locations and construction sites with state-of-the-art communication and media technology.
We work collaboratively within the team - both internally across locations and countries as well as with external partners and suppliers. We support our colleagues from various divisions in numerous IT projects and their requirements.
IT Asset Management at STRABAG is all about the procurement of hardware and software, as well as the processing of framework agreements.
