*What is a behavioral profile analysis (VPA)?
The VPA is a supporting tool in the application process. It provides a comprehensive analysis of strengths in the workplace, fears, motivational factors and values. The analysis contains additional information on how people work under pressure and in stressful situations.

Everything about your start at STRABAG
Great that we are building a better future together! To ensure that your career start goes as smoothly as possible, we will give you a rough overview of what to expect once you have signed your employment contract.
Before your first day
We stay in touch. After signing the employment contract and before your first day with us, there is often a little time. We try to use this time to welcome you and give you some information in advance. We know that changing jobs or starting a new career often involves a lot of emotions. That's why we want to offer you as much guidance and support as possible, so that your start with us is
as pleasant as possible.
We will keep you up to date - and provide you with the meeting point and time for your first day with us, as well as your contact person on site. Before your first day, you can also get more information about STRABAG, which you can find here on our careers page. Before you start with us, we will of course take care of your work equipment. Whether it's a desk, laptop and access card, or safety clothing - we prepare everything so that you can start your new job at STRABAG straight away.

On your first day
Here we go! On your first day, it is important for us that you get to know your team, which is always available to answer your questions. It's just as important that you talk to your manager. We will also introduce you to your planned induction in detail. This way, we want to make sure that you get the knowledge you need for your job with us.
For further orientation, you will find a dedicated induction page on our intranet, the STRANEXT, with further information and support for your first weeks at STRABAG. In addition, we also offer you interactively designed e-learnings. Learnings with information on the history of the Group, occupational safety, compliance and other topics relevant to you.

After the first few months at STRABAG
How do you feel? After your induction and the first few weeks at STRABAG, we would like to know how you are doing and whether you have already settled in well with your tasks and your team. Wishes? Praise? Criticism? Shortly before the end of the probationary period, you will have an open feedback discussion with your manager and review the first few months. In this way, we try to create a good working relationship at eye level in which everyone is satisfied.

How does the onboarding process work?
During your onboarding, we will ensure that you are optimally equipped for your future tasks and that you get to know all the necessary processes and interfaces based on your onboarding plan. You can look forward to personal support as part of our buddy program and dedicated contact persons who will be on hand to answer any questions you may have.
We work hand in hand across team and hierarchical boundaries - and at eye level. Openness to feedback and suggestions for improvement as well as respectful cooperation are a matter of course. At our locations, you can also freely choose your workplace and thus come into contact with different colleagues even more easily.
