Many software products that are used at STRABAG require a technical person in charge.

Our product managers and application managers have different educational backgrounds and therefore bring with them various skills from the software sector or from specific construction sectors. Due to the diversity of projects, it is precisely these different skills that are needed and deployed accordingly.

How we work

In IT Product Management, we provide support in the requirements analysis, further development and configuration of various software applications. These can be products developed in-house or purchased on the market.

Our tasks include prioritizing in the course of requirements analysis, using development channels and ensuring configuration. In addition to the technical focus, specialist know-how is also important, which our colleagues in IT Product Management acquire.

Our project portfolio

The project portfolio ranges from personnel tools to operational construction site applications and billing software.

The in-house developed software platform IRIS offers a central access point for construction site documentation, files and construction data such as sensor data from tunnel boring machines.

A product manager is responsible for the various software areas such as IRIS.tunnel or the Project Management Hub.
