STRABAG, a global leader in construction, houses the IT-Infrastructure & IT-Security department, which includes Cloud & Automation, IT-Security, and M365 Platforms. In 2025, we are specifically looking for interns in these areas. Start your internship with us and enhance your technical skills by supporting projects and gaining hands-on experience.

  • Assist in implementation of new IT projects, focusing on Cloud infrastructure and services (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS), Security improvements, DevOps framework and routine automation.
  • Collaborate with team members in implementing these projects, ensuring alignment with company objectives and IT standards. 
  • Troubleshooting Issues and Service Interruptions: resolving hardware, software, and network issues. 
  • Cyber Security Improvements and Incident Response: contributing to the development and implementation of security measures to enhance system defense and incident response. 
  • Documentation: assistance in maintaining up-to-date documentation of the IT-Infrastructure & IT-Security, including network diagrams, system configurations, and security policies. 

Qualifications

  • Pursuing bachelor's or master's degree in an IT-related discipline, Telecommunications, Computer Science or similar - with a strong preference for students from ETF.
  • Thrive on collaboration, working side by side with people of all backgrounds and disciplines, and you have very strong verbal and written communication skills 
  • Have the ability to learn new skills quickly and use the skills efficiently 
  • Have a good understanding of one or more of the following: computer networks, operating systems, cloud environments, cyber security concepts, scripting and programing.  
  • Highly motivated and have a passion for technology and learning 
  • Proficiency in English. German language skills are a big advantage
