Internship 2024 - IT-Infrastructure & IT-Security

STRABAG, a global construction giant, houses the IT-Infrastructure & IT-Security department, comprising groups such as Cloud & Automation, Networks, Hosting, M365 Platform, and IT Security. From cutting-edge network technologies to cloud and automation projects, including hosting, we engage daily in ensuring the global IT operations at STRABAG.

Are you motivated to begin your internship in IT-Infrastructure & IT-Security at STRABAG? Whether in Cloud & Automation, Networks, Hosting, M365 Platforms, or IT Security, you will have the opportunity to enhance your technical skills by supporting our team in various projects and gaining hands-on experience in the latest technologies.  

• Assist in implementation of new IT projects, focusing on networks, infrastructure, cloud services, and security improvements. 
• Collaborate with team members in implementing these projects, ensuring alignment with company objectives and IT standards. 
• Troubleshooting Issues and Service Interruptions: resolving hardware, software, and network issues. 
• Cyber Security Improvements and Incident Response: contributing to the development and implementation of security measures to enhance system defense and incident response. 
• Documentation: assistance in maintaining up-to-date documentation of the IT-Infrastructure & IT-Security, including network diagrams, system configurations, and security policies. 

• Pursuing bachelor's or master's degree in an IT-related discipline, Telecommunications, Computer Science or similar 
• Thrive on collaboration, working side by side with people of all backgrounds and disciplines, and you have very strong verbal and written communication skills 
• Have the ability to learn new skills quickly and use the skills efficiently 
• Have a good understanding of one or more of the following: computer networks, operating systems, cloud environments, cyber security concepts, scripting and programing.  
• Highly motivated and have a passion for technology and learning 
• Proficiency in English. German language skills are a big plus
